Known as "Cleanest Little City in Texas", this municipality has several notable attractions to visit such as Green Dickson Park , EDB Museum, Wolters Memorial Museum, Welhausen Park, Gaslight Theatre, Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, and Comanche Stadium. The Spoetzl Brewery established in the early years of the 20th century is the oldest independent brewery in Texas and it has become the most important touristic location within Shiner, offering the visitors a peak of the production of Shiner Bock, Shiner Winter Ale, and other beverages.
