Established in the 1870s, this land connected by the State Highway 16 and State Highway 72 is the proud neighbor of Atascosa, Live Oak, Duval, Webb, La Salle, and Frio Counties. Home of several notable locations such as Miles Ranch, Arrowhead Ranch, LaChusa Ranch, and Choke Canyon State Park; this community is served by the McMullen County Independent School District. This poor and humble land reports that more than 1/2 of the salaries in McMullen come from private industries, while the other half is generated thanks to government employments, not incorporated workers, and self employed wages. |
