This kind territory framed by Scurry, Nolan, Coke, Sterling, Howard, and Borden Counties was named for brothers Asa and Eli Mitchell. With a total area of more than 915 square miles of extension, this community with a population density of 10 people per square mile is connected by Interstate 20, State Highway 163, State Highway 208, and State Highway 350. Established back in the 1870s, this corner of American is divided in three cities: Colorado City, Loraine, and Westbrook.
