In the Texas panhandle, you will find the community of Happy which was once referenced in a commercial as âThe Town without a Frown.â A movie by the name of âHappy, Texasâ was named and inpired for the town but the film was not shot there. And there is one more link this community has to the entertainment industry: the character of George Avila on the television show 24 was from Happy.
