| About the area |
Pioneers first arrived in this area in the early 1850's. Bluffdale was not incorporated until 1978. The Rockwell's Station monument and plaque was erected to remember the stop here for the Overland Stagecoach and the Pony Express. The National Security agency recently built a center here. The Old West Days rodeo is held for two days in late July at the City arena. THis is part of the Old West Days celebration held in early August which features the five mile Family Fun bike ride, the basketball shootout, the Vintage and Muscle Car & Motorcycle show The reptile rescue and the Family Shindig and other entertainment at the city park. The Lions Club Demolition derby is held in mid JUne at city park.
