The city has a number of parks; Canyonview, Centennial, City, Dr. O. Roi Hardy, Monarch Meadows, Riverton Chase, Swensen Farms and Westfield Downs. Movies in the Park is held during the Summer with one performance each at Riverton Hospital, Canyonview park, Monarch Meadows park and City Hall park. Other venues for staging events are the C. R. Hamilton Indoor pavilion and the Sandra N. Lloyd Community center. Lest you think that it's all fun and games in this city there its its artsy side represented by the Arts Council and its theater productions.
