Sandy City Justice Court

The residents in Sandy have available to them IS 15, US 89, SR 71 and SR 209. The best way to reach the court is from IS 15 exiting at either 90th South or 106th South interchanges. There is plenty of public parking just to the West of the court and in the City hall parking lot.

It's no wonder Sandy has a large number of parks with a population of 100,000. In addition it has a skate park which can accommodate skateboarding, in-line skating and BMX freestyle biking. Its parks are all equipped with outdoor pavilions and one, Lone Peak, has an indoor pavilion. The parks combine to provide sand volleyball, tennis and basketball courts; baseball and soccer fields; walking and jogging paths; playgrounds; picnic areas; a barbecue pit; a fish pond and wetlands with lookouts for the residents of this city. The Sandy museum is an historic building in which there are two floors of displays and an exhibition shed outside to provide the history of Sandy, founded in the 1860's, through its agricultural and mining periods. The Sandy amphitheater, where you bring your own seats, is the scene of the Summer concert series. The Alta Canyon Sports center has a huge swimming pool which is open for the Summer.
