| About the area |
Monticello's Veterans Memorial park has shade trees, grass, pavilion and a playground. Also located on the grounds of the memorial are the county library and a skate park. Several other parks in this city also have pavilions. They are Baseball park, Circle park, Memorial Mill Site and Wildlife park, Lloyds Lake and Rotary Pioneer park. The Monticello swimming pool is an indoor facility available the year round. There is a big four tractor, which dates back to 1912, is on display in the museum compound on Main street along with smaller versions of the tractor. |
