Manti is traversed from top to bottom by US 89.
About the area
Manti which was first settled around 1849, saw the influx of enough Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian immigrants to be called Copenhagen. Temple Hill is where the Mormon settlers spent their first Winter. That first season was characterized by hardships such as scarce food and clothing, conflicts with Native Americans and the extreme elements. The hill is now occupied by the LDS Manti Utah Temple. The nearby Pioneer Heritage Center and Gardens is a park with a reflecting pool for the temple, walkways with park benches, an amphitheater, statues and beautiful landscaping.
Judges
Hon. Ivo Ray Peterson who seems to be evrywhere especially in the justice courts throughout the county.
