About the area

Several of the cities in Summit county have historical sites worth visiting. In Echo Canyon settlement you will find an historical church, school and post office. Myrick House and Kamas Valley Co-op can be found in the Marion settlement. Go to Wanship settlement to see the First Summit County courthouse, the old general store and Pendleton House. Early in August of each year the Summit county fair is held at the fairgrounds in Coalville.
