About the area

You would not think that people travel from all parts of the world to this city in the middle of the Rocky Mountains; but they do. Many of them may come for the rock climbing in Rock Canyon, with almost 500 routes; some of quartzite rock with challenging small edged climb and some of limestone in deeper sections of the canyon. Whether in Summer or Winter residents go to Peaks ice arena for skating fun. About 2 miles up Provo canyon you can find Provo Shooting Sports park which has available education and training in the shooting sports.
