The Heber City District Court is the district court of Wasatch county and this court is in the Fourth Judicial district of Utah.

About the area

It must have been the rugged beauty of Mount Timpanogos overlooking Heber Valley, the green meadows, the streams and the cool climate which led large numbers of Swiss to settle in this county in the 1800's. However the first to come to the county, other than Native Americans, were explorers who traveled through Strawberry Valley around 1776. Almost fifty years later, fur trappers came to the county to trap beaver followed by settlers who came to Wasatch County around 1869; settling to the North of present day Heber City and in the Midway and Charleston areas. The Heber Valley railroad runs trains through various scenic routes with its Lakeside Limited, Chocolate Lovers, Monday Night and Spring Easter trains.
