Hildale and its twin city in Arizona Colorado City are thought to house several polygamous families. In these communities security cameras constantly peer down streets looking at possible activity. Two cameras point at the Holm School, which hosts Sunday services of the breakaway congregation of former members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a polygamist sect. This situation has led to altercations between members of the church and government workers. Aside from this Hildale is not a bustling metropolis.
