This court is the district court of Washington county in the Fifth Judicial district of Utah.

About the area

The first settlements in Washington county took place in the 1850's. St. George, the county seat, has a wonderful musical program, the Concert in the Park series held in Vernon Worthen park from April through September. These concerts are free to the public; all that is required is that you bring your blankets, lawn chairs and food. Another wonderful event in this town is the The St. George Art festival on Easter weekend. Juried artists from from throughout the United States display their work in the new Town Square. In addition to which there is live entertainment on two stages and food of all kinds.
