US 89 loops through the Eastern part of town and IS 84 lies to the South of town and brushes against the Southeast corner.
About the area
Although the town started out as East Weber and then Easton with the arrival of settlers around 1850; the arrival of the railroad and the construction of a station the town became Deseret and then finally Uintah. A population boom followed only to be ended by the construction of the Utah Central Railroad between Salt Lake City and Ogden causing an exodus from the town causing it once again to be a farming area. A big "U" can be seen on the hillside above the town welcoming all visitors. Guess the town wants to announce its existence to all. At the annual U Day celebration in June there is a parade, talent show, golf, a fun run and craft show.
Hours of Operation
This court meets on the First and Third Wednesdays of each month.
Judges
Hon. Patrick E. Lambert who also serves in the Farr West, Pleasant View, North Ogden and Washington Terrace justice courts.
