Home of the Carroll County Courthouse Tragedy of 1912, where a convicted man, Floyd Allen, upon hearing his imposed one-year sentence handed down, produced a firearm and began an all-out shoot-out, leaving 5 dead and 7 wounded. The original case began with a feud between rival families. |
