There are three very interesting buildings to visit in this city. The Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History has four art galleries and a permanent exhibition "Between the Lines: Danville 1861-1865". Featured are nationally acclaimed artists, emerging or established artists of the Southeastern United States and local and regional artists. The Danville Science Center has hands-on exhibits and runs special science programs. Also included in the center is the Southern Railway Passenger Station, circa 1899. The American Armoured Foundation Tank and Ordnance War Memorial museum exhibits include tanks and ordnance from around the world, over 400 tank toys, uniforms, women in the military and other military artifacts |
