Court covers not only Fairfax County, but the city as well.
Chief Judge has been a remarkable man who has been appointed in several occasion to perform tasks and duties for the Supreme Court. His active service to the community have been recognized in several ocassions by the local government.
About the area
As an independent city settled back in the early 1700s, this community is autonomous of the surrounding county but it keeps a close relation with the authorities of the Fairfax County and contributes to the Commonwealth of the state. Many historical locations make this city very interesting for history fans; Blenheim, Old Fairfax County Jail and Ratcliffe-Logan-Allison House are some of the magnificent constructions to observe.
George Mason University is not far to the south of the Fairfax County court facility.
