Events such as the Chocolate Lover's Festival takes place right when the Valentine's spirit is around, and also, the "Fall of Fairfax" show the enthusiasm and vivacity of these community inhabitants. Fun is not everything for Fairfax people. Education is a primary necessity reinforced by the local government; Fairfax High School, Lee High School, Edison High School and George Mason University are some of the "educational sanctuaries". Lots of tightly packed homes on Courthouse Drive, right nearby. Larger homes with bigger lots to the south along University Drive.
