Winchester Magistrate serves both the city of Winchester and Frederick county in the Twenty-Sixth judicial district of Virginia. It also conducts hearings for Clarke county via video conference.

About the area

This city has some great places for their citizens' recreational needs. The War Memorial building, at Jim Barnett park houses the town's indoor pool. The Winchester Active Living and Recreation center, also located at the park, has in addition to its outdoor pool, a close to 14,000 square foot gymnasium, a racquetball court, fitness room and a large social hall.
