About the area |
This county was formed back in the middle 1600ôs and got its name from the Duke of Gloucester, Henry Stuart. Its also known as the "daffodil capitol of the world", which is a flowering plant. Mathews County is the friendly neighbor of Gloucester and many commercial bonds between the citizens of both counties increased the economical expectations of their governments. |
