Gloucester Courthouse is the county seat with 2300 inhabitants over its approximately 7 square miles of territory. The fishing industries are very common which along with the farmlands constitute the economic panorama of the county. A very interesting aspect is the fact that two archaeologists performed and continue excavations collaborating in the search of historical material in this town.
