About the area |
A pre-Revolutionary brick tavern, circa 1770, the Botetourt building, now house the Gloucester County Museum of History. Displayed here are items related to the archaeology of the Gloucester area, Civil and Revolutionary War, and an Old Country Store with Post Office and artifacts from the Hotel Botetourt. For some nice entertainment you might want to attend one of the free Concerts on the Green during the Summer at Colonial Court circle or see one of the productions put on by the Court House Players community theater. |
