A bit down the road to the East is Wilderness Road park in which you will find Martin's Station which has been reconstructed as an outdoor living history museum representative of the life on Virginia's 1775 frontier. The park also has a theater and frontier museum at the visitor center, picnic shelters, an ADA-certified playground, a sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits. From the park hikers, bike riders or horseback riders can begin a trek on the eight-mile Wilderness Road Trail. The Karlan Mansion, circa 1870's, which is rented out for different occasions is located here. Cumberland Bowl park is in a natural depression in the earth near the center of Jonesville. It has areas for picnics, sports and other activities as well as the site of the Veterans Memorial Wall. Jonesville Festival in the Park is held here each September.
