Norfolk Magistrate Court

The Virginia zoo, in this city, has a collection of about 400 animals from the following groups: Mammals Amphibians and Reptiles, Birds and Invertebrates. An interesting feature in this zoo is the interactive habitat for prairie dogs where viewing bubbles allow you to get up close to them. Other interesting mammals you can see at this zoo are squirrel monkeys, a Bongo antelope, siamang apes, Rock Hyraxes and blue duikers. The African Village, Butterfly, Color, Herb, Organic Rose, Ornamental Grass, Rain, Shade, Tropical and Virginia Barnyard gardens in the zoo are an interesting collection of plants and vegetables. While you are visiting the zoo hop aboard the Zoo train, a 1/3 scale model of a C.P. Huntington steam engine and four coaches which takes you on a journey around the zoo while the train engineer provides you with a live narration about the zoo and its collection of plants and animals.
