Warsaw Magistrate serves as the magistrate court of Richmond county which is in the Fifteenth judicial district of Virginia.
**Actual address is 3908 Richmond Road but that doesn't map well so we did the best we could. The court is actually about 1/4 mile to the west of where we have it on our map, basically the next driveway west of the McDonalds. |

About the area |
Warsaw is located between the Potomac River and the Rappahannock River and was originally called Richmond County Courthouse. However around 1831, in order to show support for the Polish struggle for liberty, it was renamed. Each October the Warsaw Fest is held on the grounds of the Rappahannock Community College in Warsaw. After the parade which includes fire engines, trucks, local school groups and floats the fun begins. The car and truck is an attraction many of the attendees want to see. There is food, live entertainment and games to fill the time as well. Rappahannock Community College, a school with a campus in Warsaw, offers Associates of Arts & Sciences and Associate of Applied Science Degree in several fields. The Richmond County museum has exhibits related to the Rappahannock Indians of Richmond County, Declaration of Independence Signer Francis Lightfoot Lee, February Black History Month and October Archaeology month observances. |
