Prosser District Court is also known as the Prosser Branch of the Benton District Court and is located near State Road 22. It holds Municipal court hearings for the city of Prosser. We wonder if they have a copy of Prosser's book on torts. |
| About the area |
Prosser is the county seat and is located at the far western corner of Benton County. Its first homestead was established by an agent for the Department of the Interior. It is considered by some to be the birthplace of the state's wine industry and is known for its growing number of local wineries and the tourism which is generated by them. With Rattlesnake Hills on the north and Horse Heaven Hills on the south and the Yakima River running through, there are many opportunities in the area for hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and boating. Prosser is served by Prosser Airport a public facility owned by the Port Of Benton with a paved runway of nearly 3500 feet. |
