This court sits right on Main street which is also US Highway 12 and runs through the center of town. Dayton municipal court cases are heard in this court.

About the area

If you want to see the "ponys" run; be here on Memorial day for Dayton Days. This annual event features three days of Pari-Mutual horse racing as well as a parade, rodeos, dances and the Touchet River Fun Run. Towards the end of July stick around for the Festival at the Depot, a 2 day affair with an auction, wine tasting, a Biathlon, a parade, style show, entertainment and dance, along with train displays and arts & crafts. That's not all the fun. In mid September the Columbia County Fair comes to town. This 3 day event features a big name concert, dances, amateur rodeo, demolition derby, barbecue and pickup pull. It
