The Ferry Superior Court is located in the same building as the District Court. Cases are heard in the Superior courts of Pend Oreille, Stevens and Ferry counties by Judges Rebecca "Haymaker" Baker and Allen "favorite son" Nielson.

About the area

A visit to Republic is a visit into the early 1900's with many of the downtown buildings and stores still retaining that look. For fiddler music lovers the city holds an Open Fiddle contest each August. THe area is also private aircraft owner friendly sponsoring a Wings Over Republic Fly-In each August at Ferry County airport Northeast of the city at Curlew Lake.
