About the area |
If you are into rock hunting or antiquing or biking you'll find it in this town. It has an extensive system of parks, a community pool, a community center and athletic fields. The Connell Heritage Museum, located in a restored 1905 Gothic Revival Church, has a wide variety of historic artifacts, pictures, costumes, tools, furniture, oral history DVDs, local history books, maps, pamphlets, obituaries, and school pictures. Like other counties in Washington state; Franklin has its North Franklin Fall Festival in September. There is a Grande parade and Kiddies parade to lead it off, a Motorcycle show, the Fireman's Breakfast and agricultural displays and plenty of food tasting.
