| About the area |
There are two wonderful museums to visit in Pasco which reflect the history of the area. The Franklin County Historical museum is located in the former Pasco Carnegie Library building. This museum has displays demonstrating the agriculture, railroading, river, air transportation and local history. There are also artifacts various Indian tribes. the other one is an Interpretive center. Here at Sacajawea State Park, a traditional native village has been re-created. Interactive displays tell the story of the Lewis and Clark Expedition as seen through the experiences of a young Indian woman who accompanied the expedition. |
