About the area |
You would think with a name like Electric City there would be something associated with electricity in the city. In a far fetched way there is; but its a bit of a stretch. It's just near the power source at Grand Coolee dam.Electric city lies on a peninsula with Banks lake to the North and Osborn Bay lake to the South. Looking for a restful day? Visit Steamboat Rock State Park about 11 miles south of Electric City. Located at this this park are two campground areas, a swimming area and a boat launch.
