About the area |
South Bend is located on the shores of the Willapa River and is the county seat of Pacific County. It is a relatively young city having been incorporated in the late 19th century. It has a very small population; not very crowded here. Plenty of room to enjoy the beauty of nature along the Willapa River with lots of opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and boating. You might even see some of the waterfowl and seabirds which wander in from Willapa Bay. |
