Everett was once a mill town. Everett was incorporated in 1893 and was also named county seat In the same year. There are more than 40 parks and two PGA-rated golf courses in Everett. In 1992, three Navy ships participated in the formal opening of the new pier at Naval Station Everett completing the development of a US Navy Battle Group homeport on Puget Sound first proposed in the early 1980's by the Secretary of the Navy. |
