It has more than 1,600 acres of , trails and playgrounds Relax after a tough day by a visit to Everett Memorial stadium the home field for the AquaSox minor league baseball team in the Northwest league. For sports fans there is also the Everett Silvertips ice hockey team and the Everett Hawks football team. The city has many miles of freshwater and saltwater shorelines affording anglers the opportunity to catch Steedheads and Salmon.
