About the area |
Everett lies along Puget sound and has one of the largest populations in Washington state. It's historic district contains many old stately homes. Some of the largest commercial airliners are manufactured here at the Boeing plant . Boeing's Future of Flight Aviation Center & museum are open to the public. In 1936 Snohomish County Airport - Paine Field was built by the Works Progress Administration. It was twice used as an Air Force base. Once during World War II and again during the Korean conflict. |
