Ferndale has a fairly large population for the area: over 11,000 people. A must see is the collection of original pioneer log cabins and contents in Pioneer Park. Eleven log cabins, built by the early pioneers of Whatcom County were moved from various locations in the county. These historic buildings may be viewed and toured by the public in a village setting reminiscent of the environment in which they were originally built. . |
