Colton is as small as it gets with a land area of less than one square mile and a population under 400. Isn't that relaxing? - no hassle. Too bad Michael Bolton doesn't live there; we could call him Bolton from Colton and distinguishing the town. Maybe the locals like the poet Walt Whitman and that's where it got the name? |
