Uniontown is in an area known for the rolling hills typically used for dry-land grain farming. There's a lot of Community spirit here. Volunteers serve on the Town Council, Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Fire Department, Community Center Board and Community Development Association Board. Volunteers have taken part in the rebuilding of a city park, renovating a commercial building for a new bakery, and reconstructing a barn for use as an artisan and event center. Each year they hold sausage feed to raise the funds needed to cover the cost of maintenance and operation of the community center. A nice place to live. There is access to regional airports and colleges. |
