| About the area |
Grandview is 100 years old. The Northern Pacific Railway Company designed and laid out the site for Grandview. Much of the history of the city can be seen at the Powell Museum which offers an abundance of display items. The economy is mainly agricultural with processing plants and cold storage facilities. Each year many attend the Grape Stomp in September. Grandview has a small town atmosphere with magnificent views of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, Rattlesnake Hills, Horse Heaven Hills and some other delightfully named geographic features. |
