If you are looking to taste the juice; Yakima is the perfect place to start. It is the center of Washington Wine Country. The minor league affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Yakima Bears make their home here at the Yakima county stadium. Wonder if they got that name because they are roly poly or sweet Teddy bears. At any rate don't expect luxurious seating at their stadium and be prepared to move around to see all parts of a game. It is cheaply built, has poor sight lines; there is not one clear sight line in any section of seating. The local airport, McAllister Field, with a 5000 foot runway and a 4000 foot runway primarily serves general aviation.
