Menomonie is just south of Interstate 94 and is intersected by US 12. This city of 15,000 offers summer concerts, ice-cream socials, sporting events, and festivals. There's a 9-hole golf course at Menomonie Country Club and the restored Victorian-era Mabel Tainter Theater. The U Wisconsin-Stout campus is here and also Chippewa Valley Technical College.
