Located on US 2 and 141 and WI 70, this area is 80 percent forest. It's a logging town and most of the people work in neighboring Michigan. Protected areas include the Spread Eagle Barrens National Area and Wild Rivers which are State designated and Whisker Lake Wilderness Area designated by the Federal government. Fishing, hunting, camping and the like are what you want to do here. So drive carefully. |
