About the area |
US 14, 61 and WI 27, 56 and 82 have been upgraded. Viroqua's downtown - "Main Street City" - has been listed on the State and National Register of Historic Places. Here you will find specialty shops from metal to glassware and much more. It has been named as "The Town that Beat Walmart" by Smithsonian Magazine for the success of it's small businesses. If you have to come to the Courthouse here, summer is a great time. On Saturdays from June to October the Farmers Market features organic farming products. The third weekend in August is "Wild West Days" with many activities and the Great County Fair is here in September. |
