| About the area |
The Burnsville Lake dam is a wonderful place to spend a day or for camping. There are great hunting opportunities at this lake and camping sites are located at the Riffle Run Campground. The campground has at least 60 sites some of which have electrical supplies. It also is equipped for day use and has a boat launch and four picnic shelters. There is another campground on Burnsville Lake, the Bulltown campground. Adjoining the campground is the Bulltown Historical village where you can get a feel for what life was like during the Civil War era and the Battle of Bulltown reenactment is held here every two years.
