About the area

If you are in Sutton try to visit the annual Braxton County Fair which is held at the end of July. This five day event has live musical entertainment every day in addition to the livestock events. There are also all kinds of competitions such as the ATV speed pit and mud bog, ATV Speed Pit & Mud Bog, truck pull, draft horse pull, antique tractor pull. The exhibit building has a bunch of fun hands-on activities. Besides the carnival rides and arts and crafts you might enjoy the car, truck and motorcycle show. Capping it all off are the fireworks on Saturday night.
