About the area

Glenville State College was founded in the early 1870's with a mission to prepare school teachers in the science of education. It has come along way since then; the institution now not only prepares students for careers in teaching but for careers in business, land resources, music, the liberal arts, the sciences, criminal justice and human services as well. The school fields teams in Football, baseball, basketball and volleyball providing the community with sporting events to attend.
