The historic Potomac Eagle Scenic Railroad departs from Wappocomo Station in Romney from May through November on its daily train ride; which is a narrated excursion through a tranquil and pristine mountain valley. You will also pass historic farms and lush and beautiful mountain greenery. The train also passes through the Trough, a narrow forested canyon on the South Branch River which is one of the best locations for spotting American bald eagles soaring high above their natural habitat.
