St. Marys Circuit Court is the Third Circuit Court of Pleasants County in the Judicial Circuit Court system of West Virginia.

About the area

The facility now known as the St. Marys Correctional Center, which resulted from the renovation of the Colin Anderson Center built in the 1930's, is located a few short miles North of St. Marys. The prison population consists of minimum to medium security inmates and aging, geriatric, special needs and chronic medical offenders with lower custody classification. The facility which is under the control of the West Virginia Division of Corrections provides employment for residents of St. Marys and the surrounding area.
