Grafton Circuit Court is the Nineteenth Circuit Court of Taylor County in the Judicial Circuit Court system of West Virginia.
About the area
The institution of Mother's Day was established by a mother and daughter from Grafton. To honor them and promote the spirit of Motherhood; the International Mother's Day Shrine and Museum was established in an old historic church structure built in 1873 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is the church where the first celebration of Mother's Day was held in 1908. The city is working to revitalize the downtown area and is removing dilapidated structures along Main Street. As part of this revitalization the International Mother's Day Shrine purchased and renovated the Historic Manos theatre.
